ITC Symbol

ITC Symbol was designed by Aldo Novarese for the International Typeface Corporation in 1984.

The family includes four weights plus matching italics in a design that combines the structure of a humanist sans serif with just a hint of serifs. Other designs that combine features of both serif and sans serif type are the Copperplate Gothic family, Optima, and ITC Serif Gothic.

ITC Symbol is a simple, understated design that can be used successfully for text or display.
