Times Europa

Times Europa was designed in 1972 by Walter Tracy for The Times of London.

Times Europa was a replacement for Times New Roman, which had been designed for the newspaper in 1931. Times Europa was designed with sturdier shapes to meet the postwar demands of newspaper printing, i.e, the cheaper paper and increased speed of the presses.
