1491 Cancellaresca Formata

This font was inspired by the very well known humanistic script called Cancellaresca. This variant, Formata,(You can compare with our 1610 Cancellaresca) was used by many calligraphers in the late 1400s, especially by the Venetian Giovannantonio Tagliente, whose work was mainly used for this font.

Numerals were inspired by Da Vinci manuscripts.

We added accented characters and a few others not currently existing in the period. A lot of titling alternates and ligatures are also available.

This article refers to: 1491 Cancellaresca Formata.
