In-depth: Purchasing fonts

Shopping made easy

So you've found the font(s) of your dreams, and you're ready to buy. Here’s what to do:

1. If you want to buy one particular fot style, click on the yellow Buy Me icon next to that font.
2. If you want to buy more than one style from a family, click on the Buy Me button on top of the page.
3. Clicking on the Buy Me button will take you to a Purchase Options page which shows you the pricing and availability of the particular font(s).
4. Now you can choose the formats and platforms which you need. Fonts may be available for one of the following platforms (operating systems):
   Windows and Macintosh,
   and in following formats: PostScript and TrueType. See Font Formats for more information.
5. If you are currently logged in and have already puchased a particular font, one of the platform icons can apear next to the package description featuring this font. You can download the font again by clicking on the icon.
6. To make your choice easier, we detect the version of your browser, and show only the fonts available for the platform you are currently using (Macintosh users only see Macintosh fonts etc.). If this is not what you need, use the gray box on the top of the page to show all available platforms: select all four checkboxes and click on the Show Only... button.

   Although MyFonts.com tries to provide fonts suitable for all users, please note that some fonts are not available in all platforms and formats. Some designers of foundries choose to deliver only font in PostScript format or only for Windows. In this case, you can purchase a font in a different format and use a conversion tool to convert the font into the format you need. Please note that font conversion usually reduces the quality of the font, so you should consider this only as the last option. See Font Utilities for details.

7. Select packages by clicking in the check box and then click the Add to Cart button.
8. If you wish to continue shopping, enter a new font name into the search box or use the topbar to view an index. If you wish to finish shopping, click on the Checkout >> button.
9. If you have a MyFonts account already, log in with your username and password. Otherwise, click the link to create a new account.
10. If you have purchased any of these fonts previously, you will be notified of this and allowed to remove them from your cart at this time. Of course, you're more than welcome to purchase fonts more than once if you want to!
11. You will now see a list of the fonts in your cart. Confirm this list by pressing Next >>
12. You will now see the texts of the license agreements for the fonts you are buying. You must accept the terms of the License Agreements in order to download fonts. Please review the agreements carefully, and click on each Accept License Agreement button. Then, click on Next >>
13. If you have not created a credit card in your MyFonts “virtual wallet” previously, you will be asked to enter your credit card information now.
14. Now you will be presented with a list of credit cards contained in your MyFonts “virtual wallet.” Choose the card you would like to use, or click add a new card to create a new one.
15. Enter your password and click once on the Buy! button.
16. If all goes well, your credit card will be approved in a matter of seconds, and you will be taken to the order download screen. If all does not go well, you will see a red error message. Choose a different card or click “edit” to change the details of the faulty card.
17. After successfully completing the checkout process, you will be given the option to download the fonts.

Buy once, Download forever

What happens if you reinstall your operating system or accidentally delete some font files? When you purchase fonts from MyFonts.com, you can come back at any time, free of charge, and re-download fonts you have ordered! You'll never have to worry about keeping track of a CD or a stack of diskettes. Simply click on My Account in the main menu, log in, and visit the My Orders section!
