Flourished Names Mystery Script

Can anyone tell me where to look for this? I have the “&” in another font that is similar, so I am specifically looking for the font of the names. Thanks!

Font identified as Bickham Script Pro with Swash Capitals.

you can see the ‘&’ -- the Swash Capitals are in the font

Thanks - I can’t find it online as swash... any other suggestions? I really want the feel of the “K” and the “D”.... I have an “&” already that looks like the one in this example. :-)

see this thread:

and click on the link by bldown -- you’ll get a PDF with a complete showing of all the glyphs

Yay! Thank you for the link. Now I just have to find a way to buy it where the alternates are included. It’s hard to find the part I need online. Looks like most places are selling the basic version.

Case marked solved.

I believe that any Bickham Script Pro you find will have the alternates included. If you have doubts, go to Adobe fonts (I am pretty sure they will include instructions with the sale):

Thank you! Good to learn that - I wasn’t aware. And, I noticed that this font is an open type - my addressing program requires a ttf. Any suggestions?

it started as a MultipleMaster font (either PostScript or TrueType) -- today, many printers (with Adobe -- itself -- programs) won’t run MM fonts (and it was made up of several separate fonts that had alternate characters and ornaments as well as 3 weights)

so you’d have to get a version that will (or make your work into PDFs that WILL work)

Again, thank you for sharing your expertise. Much appreciated!
