Joealat -

You really haven’t gone unnoticed. I happen to have a thing for stencil typefaces - I have checked all of WTF, abstract fonts and dafont.com Stencils - and have come up empty. I can even help you eliminate House Industries stencil fonts...

You did select a nice looking one - and hopefully someone will recognize it.

I’m sorry I wasn’t that someone.

I even tried hand drawing the 7 to get a clean copy for WTF to search with - no luck there.

I have put this on the abstractfont.com/forum
I have a feeling it is a shareware font (and a nice one too)
Let’s see if someone more familiar with shareware than commercial can put a name to it...

It could be a mix of Futura Stencil D Medium and another Stencil font

  --joeralat on 2007-03-09 17:12:06 (1068d 3h 8m 29s ago)

It could ... as anything could ... but, so sorry joerelat, it ain’t. The way the Futura Stencil was done is completely different from your pict. Otherwise I would have suggested that. Wouldn’t I? Focus on the Montreal. With your pict as an example it is a doddle to make a stencil out of that one.

The numbers look like cardboard stencils I use to have a kid for school projects. I would just lay them down and spraypaint. I almost wonder if they just didn’t do that for the photo.
