Abdelrahman Mohamed AKA Abdo Mohamed a self-taught lettering artist, graphic and type designer based in Cairo. I'm curious by nature and a designer by nurture.

For me, design is a form of expression, a visual music that captures Cairo's contradictions and quintessence; it's how I communicate.

Working at the branding was the fire that ignited my passion for the visual arts, it opened the door for my imagination and From that starting point,

My Arabic typography was featured in Vogue magazine and Albeit magazine. And on the global scale, my clients range from Canva (Australia), to Sary App (KSA), Sparks (KSA), Harfian and Spare app (kuwait).

Also, I have two spaces, “Boharat Cairo” is my space for creating a spicy Arabic typefaces and experimenting new type methods, and the second one is the “Egyptian Type Archive” a collection of inspiration images for Arabic type/lettering Found at the Egyptian streets.
