BABELFONT

Babelfont is a type design studio based in Paris and Marrakech, since 2015. Founded by Gia Tran (Vietnam) and Brahim Boucheikha (Morocco), Babelfont is specialized in designing new typefaces mixing European, Asian and Arabic influences. We love to build bridges between cultures through our collaborative design process. Our typographic creations inspire and enhance the works of graphic designers and visual artists. First digital foundry in North Africa, Babelfont tries to highlight the calligraphic heritage of this region. The studio offers creation in alphabets such as Arabic, Cyrillic, Greek, Vietnamese, Thai, Tifinagh, and of course all Latin languages.The Babelfont’s founders have also been involved in teaching for ten years in Morocco and France.
