Barghest Type

Barghest is based in Canada, Calgary.The "Barghest" name comes from the Northern English folklore, a monstrous black dog with Hellhound features.The foundry will be focusing on delivering unique looking display typefaces. The founder Zsolt is a Hungarian art director with more then a decade of experience in design. The main inspiration comes from traditional Japanese arts, such as typography and woodblock prints.
