"Bring To Type" is a type foundry based in Indonesia founded by myself, Faris Mu'afa. This venture stems from my lifelong fascination with literature and the written word, deeply influenced by my environment's profound appreciation for the arts, especially lettering. Growing up surrounded by a culture that values artistic expression has fueled my passion for typography.Over the past three years, I have dedicated myself to the art of font creation. This intricate process, which often demands a significant amount of time and meticulous attention to detail, has been both challenging and immensely rewarding. Each font I design carries a piece of my journey, reflecting the dedication and love I have for this craft.Despite the complexities involved, I find great joy and pride in pursuing this field. The ability to transform ideas into beautiful, functional typefaces that can be used and appreciated by others is incredibly fulfilling. My goal is to contribute to the world of design by offering fonts that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also versatile and relevant to contemporary needs.To share my work with a wider audience, I decided to establish a studio where I could showcase and sell my creations. Thus, "Bring To Type" was born. This studio serves as a platform to present my fonts to designers, artists, and anyone with a love for typography.
