Cinetype

Cinetype is the studio of Michele Patanè, typeface designer, font engineer, and researcher based in London, UK. He founds his design practice on research, history, as well as technology. A multidisciplinary approach with innovation as the focus of the design process. Typeface design is not only the skill of crafting great letter forms, with strong roots, and awareness of the cultural context they live in, but it is also the ability to take care of all the technical aspects of a font, from the implementation of smart typographic features, to the support of different scripts and languages.
