Friendly Fonts

The Friendly Fonts Foundry is a positivitype foundry run by Dutch Graphic Designer Paul IJsendoorn, currently based somewhere in between Antwerp and Amsterdam. Established in 2021, the foundry creates custom and retail typefaces. Since then I’ve developed the Friendly Fonts website into an online store for other designers looking to find unique and exciting fonts for their design projects. The Friendly Fonts typefaces combines handwritten, handmade organic shapes with unique digital geometric type influences and ideas with a touch of friendliness in mind. Fineliner Script is used by one of the biggest dutch Retailers for use on various products. Forced Square is used by Universal Pictures in a computer animated comedy film.
