Hilman Ruslan is a graduate of Al - Amin High School in West Java, Indonesia. Previously, he had a printing business for several years (invitations, tote bags, hampers and gift boxes). while working in this field he often came into contact with fonts but was not too interested in fonts.

When Covid-19 hit the world, his printing business began to decline until it finally went bankrupt. Then he got the opportunity to work in the field of font production focusing on the kerning process until the final stage for several years.

He was interested in learning to sketch fonts because he saw his coworkers sketching fonts. then he started studying seriously and asked his co-workers how to sketch fonts effectively so that his skills improved.
