Jean Paul Beumer (Breda, The Netherlands, 1968) Since 1991, he has been working as an independent graphic designer. He graduated from the part-time education programme at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague (class of ’94) together with his partner Yvette van den Boogaard. Type design­­­­ was not in the part-time curriculum as opposed to the full-time education programme. Nevertheless, in 2008 he started designing type; blood is thicker than water. Jean Paul and Yvette are currently living and working under the name [email protected] in Biervliet, The Netherlands.
