Jess Bailey

There is something about fonts that always capture my attention and curiosity. As a child I used to hand letter signs and take hours to write headings in my school books. As I got older I went in to the field of psychology, and while this has taken me down a different path for a while, the lure of typography has never left me. Now, thanks to my psychology training, I look at fonts in a new light. I try to understand what a font is communicating, and what it tells to the viewer. I enjoy creating hand illustrated fonts that have a unique and tangible feel. Bringing something textured to an otherwise virtual or flat space. I hope I can share with you my curiosity and my passion.
