Born 1974 in former Czechoslovakia, Johanna Balusikova now lives in The Hague, working as a freelance graphic designer, typographer and exhibition designer. She studied at the Jan van Eyck Akademie, Maastricht, Netherlands; Atelier National de Recherche Typographique, Paris; Ecole des Beaux-arts de Saint-Etienne, France; and Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, Slovakia.
