John Bonadies received his undergraduate degree in graphic design from Indiana University, where he was introduced to letterpress. He earned his MFA in graphic design from the University of Illinois. He has worked as a designer and creative director in hi-tech, higher education, agency, and consulting environments. He co-founded mpressInteractive, LLC in 2011 with help from a Kickstarter campaign to create a "virtual letterpress" for the iPad. John is an avid wood type collector and also runs the Living Letter Press studio in Champaign, Illinois.
