Leon Russell

Being a graphic designer by trade I naturally developed a fascination with typefaces having obsessed over typeface selection for various projects within the arts (and corporate) sector. This gave me the fortune of working for some large organizations and major record labels, allowing for a creative and expressive approach to my work.

Having developed an interest and curiosity of how typefaces are created, I bought my first book on the subject - Designing Type by Karen Cheng which was fascinating, especially from a technical point of view. I then gained some more knowledge from type designers out there (Jonny Pinhorn) and the lovely folk from Dalton Dalton Maag.
