Maciej Majchrzak was born in 1989 in Poznań. In 2014, he graduated in graphic design at the University of the Arts in Poznań (he completed his diploma in the Studio of Lettering and Typography under the supervision of Prof. Krzysztof Kochnowicz and Viktoriya Grabowska) and cultural studies at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań in 2013. He has been working at the Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław since 2014. He also conducts classes and workshops at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. He collaborates with the Perform Brand Design Studio (pbd.pl). He is an initiator and co-organiser of the Wrocław Type Forum conference. He was awarded a scholarship by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage ‘Young Poland’. Besides being a designer, typographer and lecturer, he does amateur mountain and trail running.
