Sicilian, raised in Tuscany, Mattia De Vitis graduated with honors from the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia in the industrial design course and winning the competition for the realization of the Umbria Jazz 2016 poster, an entire calligram poster dedicated to David Bowie. After studying for the degree thesis dedicated to modular typography, his interest in typography increases, which leads him to Florence at the IED to follow a specialization course in typography and calligraphy held by the digital foundry Zeta Font and the Italian caligraph association ACI. At the end of this path, Mattia moves to Prague for the master in Future Design at the Prague City University PCU. He currently collaborates with several studios in the Czech capital and with private clients between Sicily, Tuscany and Milan in Italy.
