Rike is the founder and designer of Local Desk Designstudio. As an introvert-scientist-turned designer (and big clay enthusiast), she has always believed that every space – digital or physical – needs atmosphere. That’s why when she works on new designs and fonts, she channels personality into the tiniest of details – from the curl of your serif to the shade of a color. The interest for type design already showed during her studies of Communication Design in Berlin from 2013 to 2016. After working in studios across the globe from Australia to Austria, Rike now works from her hectare in a tiny town in Germany.
