Strike & Riot is named in honor of a 1918 typesetters strike that triggered a workers' revolution. As a small, independent digital foundry, its repertoire is composed of projects that span the deeply researched to the whimsically intuitive, all while lovingly exploring the craft of making mechanical letters. S&R experiments with typographic form, concept, function, and narration, aiming to provide compelling options for applications ranging from editorial to publicity.
