Tykwo is the foundry name established by French designer jean-françois Rey in 1998. After having experimented with the creation of typographic codes and visuals in the very late 90s, tykwo specialized in the world of French comics. Since the year 2000, exploiting developments in the format of digital fonts and their management by the softwares used in the graphic chain in a way that was as rigorous and as respectful as possible to the writing of the artist he is adapting. Mainly creating custom typefaces for European publishers, authors and brands, we create original typefaces that meet the needs of lettering/typographic design and multilingual uses.
