Willow Type Foundry

Willow Type Foundry is the personal project of a Japanese type designer Kaito Osawa. Kaito studied typeface design at the University of Reading in the UK in 2022, after working for four years as a typeface developer for a Japanese stationery company. In four years of work experience, he has developed more than seven typefaces, including Japanese and Chinese fonts. He specialises in highly visible typeface production based on practical experience, as well as harmonious multi-script typefaces. Currently, he mainly produces Latin and Japanese typefaces, and has experience in designing Tangut characters for academic use.
