Design Credits
First seen on MyFonts: December 3rd, 2007 Albertus MTBerthold Wolpe designed Albertus, his second typeface, for Monotype between 1932 and 1940. Albertus was first available only as a titling font, until 1940, when the lowercase was added. Modeled on letters that Wolpe chiseled out of bronze, the sharp serifs are formed by a simple widening of the stems. Albertus has a distinct elegance that stands out in display settings such as headlines, titles, and commercial packaging. Not quite what you’re looking for? Try looking at more fonts like this.
