About this font family
ITC Highlander was released in 1993 and is yet another tribute by David Farey to the American type designer Oswald Cooper. Farey modeled his sans serif design on the handlettering of Cooper, maintaining the original feel with the types diminutive x-height and the uneven letter strokes. The terminals on ITC Highlander, unlike most sans serifs, are soft, and create a sans serif that Farey finds to be more readable; the accompanying italic is a simple cursive design.
