ITC Leawood was begun by Leslie Usherwood, founder and president of Typsettra in Toronto, and completed by staff designers after Usherwoods untimely death.
His original drawings were models for the finished type, which was produced using interpolated instances on a computer.
ITC Leawood was released in 1985; it is a text design with angular serifs, slightly flared stems, and a large x-height.
