About this font family
José Mendoza began working with type in the early 1950s when he was an assistant to the innovative French graphic and type designer Roger Excoffon.
ITC Mendoza Roman, designed in 1991 by José Mendoza, is a handsome typeface with uncommon evenness and proportion; the italic is strong, yet graceful, and highly readable.
