In 1972, Herb Lubalin and Tony DeSpigna designed this typeface for the International Typeface Corporation. ITC Serif Gothic combines the readability of serif (roman) faces with the simplicity of a sans serif (gothic). It comes in six weights, providing a flexible range of faces for use in advertising, packaging, billboards, or headlines.
