First seen on MyFonts: December 3rd, 2007 Letter GothicLetter Gothic was designed by Roger Roberson for IBM sometime between 1956 and 1962. Inspired by Optima, the typeface originally had flared stems. A monospaced sans serif font designed for use on an IBM Selectric typewriter, Letter Gothic is a good choice for tabular material.
