First seen on MyFonts: December 3rd, 2007 LinotextLinotext was designed by Morris Fuller Benton in 1901 and released by American Type Founders as Wedding Text; Linotype picked up the design in 1924. Linotext is typical of nineteenth-century type designs known as Old English, in which the blackletter style is characterized by wide letters and added flourishes.
