Ruling Script was designed in 1992 by Gottfried Pott, noted German calligrapher and teacher.

Ruling Script is unmistakable in its design with its rough edges visible at large sizes and tiny underlining penstrokes added to the serifs of several capitals and a few lowercase letters. The letters are full of action, giving resonance to any copy set with Ruling Script.
