Wilke™

In 1988, Martin Wilke designed this legible text typeface for Linotype, combining elements from a variety of models, including the Caslon typeface, classical inscriptions, late-eighteenth-century sources, and even the eighth-century Book of Kells.

Wilke contains virtually no straight lines, but most of its curves are broad and round, with playful eccentricities in some of the letterforms and terminals.
