About this font family

Tangent was born out of a simple idea:

I began the project with a circle to form the letter ‘o’ and after squaring off one corner, ended up with a letter form I hadn't seen elsewhere; this for me was motivation enough to see if I could complete the alphabet. Initially sketching out the characters to get an overview, I employed the angle wherever possible to create the tangential style of this particular typeface. I'm fortunate the name I chose hadn't been taken as it describes the font perfectly! See also Tangent Rounded & Tangent Semi Serif variations.
