With condensed type gaining popularity in the 1970s, Berthold released Günter Gerhard Lange’s original design, Concorde Nova, in 1975.
Though a condensed typeface, it has great legibility and is clear and appealing.
Concorde Nova is especially suited for spread sheets, financial statements and cramped spaces with numbers. It is a good alternative to a condensed sans serif when a serif type is preferred.
