ITC American Typewriter

Herb Lubalin’s idea for the coarse, blunt typewriter letterform expressed with the exaggerated ITC x-height on typographic widths; Joel Kaden and Tony Stan prepared the three weight series for ITC in 1974, and created a new typographic texture. These are proportional alphabets.
