About this font family
Agency Gothic was originally designed by Morris Fuller Benton in 1932 as a titling typeface. Two members of the family, Agency Gothic Condensed and Agency Gothic Open, were commissioned by Publish magazine for their May 1990 redesign. Subsequently, other weights and styles were added to the CastleType revival, including Agency Gothic Bold and the very popular Agency Gothic Inline.
