Neo-modernism is the background for Tephra. The font is firmly intended for use in titling and display environments, yet at smaller sizes it creates tantalizing patterns: typography becomes image.

The grid dominates the Tephra font family - there are none of the proportional harmonies that we are used to seeing in traditional fonts. Yet, despite its grid, Tephra has softness and elegance that permeates the cold geometry where the intricate interaction between space and counter is moulded by the the font’s closed spacing.
