Bs Kombat
Geometric letters are a stereotype of our mental image of lettering. You see letters like those of Bs-Kombat everywhere! To draw a set of ‘well’ balanced letters one would make a rigid grid and feet the shape in it. That’s the I was teach in school! So I wanted to apply this ‘very important’ knowledge of my old days of design student! However I couldn’t escape from my different way of looking at letterforms since than — so, Bs-Kombat is not as geometric as it looks. Available in a single weight and width, it comprises a set of alternate letters contained in Bs-Kombat Alternate. It was designed in 1998 and it also shows some of my passion for Russian constructivism.
