Punctual

Some words from fontBoy:

Punctual was designed by creating a gid of dots and then connecting them.

The name, Punctual, is derived from the German word for “point”, which is punkt. The lines that connect the dots are the same thickness as the points. The font is geometrically spaced; that is, the width of each character is determined by its geometry; nearly all the characters are the same width. The “Universal” versions have no descenders-characters that would ordinarily have them are redesigned. In addition, lower case characters without ascenders are designed to reach the cap height. The family consists of regular, inline and interior variations with “Universal” versions of each. The interior is a font made of the negative spaces in the inline, with the same spacing.

If the same text is set in both versions and overlapped, the interior and inline align perfectly. This is useful for creating multicolored inline.
