RoarType One

RoarType One is a “pixel” font where each pixel has been replaced by two alternating characters from fontBoy’s RoarShock ornaments. The alphanumeric characters are all designed to the same width. The space and most punctuation is narrower. To achieve a monospaced setting, a filler space is located at "option+s".

Note: Due to the enormous detail encoded in the font, users may experience sluggish screen redraws and long saves. Also note that RoarType has an incomplete character set-accented characters are not available.

The typeface was originally built from RoarShock characters for a book cover. Once the book cover was rejected, I decided to build the entire font.

A reversed version (Neg) and ornaments quickly followed.
