Loupot

In 1948, French designer Charles Loupot drew a revolutionary logotype to promote St. Raphael mineral water.

Half a century later, the qualities of this logo inspired New York designer and illustrator Laurie Rosenwald to work with Boston type designer Cyrus Highsmith in expanding it into a typeface.

At once industrial and calligraphic in style, Loupot is one of the few scripts that offers a truly successful all-capital setting.
