Munich®A font family tree displays different foundries’ versions, or a foundry’s different cuts, of basically the same typeface design.
MunichSome words from Font Bureau: After preparing the Bremen font family in three weights of cap and small cap combinations, Richard Lipton found himself fascinated by the richness of the implications in Ludwig Holwein’s original letterforms, themselves among the most vital of 1922 designs. He impulsively varied their shapes to produce alternatives. The most successful, rather more angular in form, became Munich, another three-weight small-cap series. |
