Gorod.Moskva

The general idea: the symbols are stylized in the form of the fragments of the Moscow Kremlin walls.

Release: in the form of “gorod.Moskva” font with the four styles.

Normal and Italic styles have thin vertical strokes, Bold and Bold-Italic styles - thick ones. The symbols of Italic and Bold-Italic styles do not have an actual slant of the vertical strokes, most of the symbols have countersrokes (serifs) at the end of strokes instead.

We have to explain the meaning of the font name. It is “city of Moscow” written in Russian and transliterated.

The first mention of Moscow is found in the annals of 1147. Since the 14th century Moscow had been the center of the Great Princedom of Moscow, since the second half of the 15th century it has been the capital of the uniform Russian state. Now Moscow is the capital of the Russian Federation, the largest in Russia and one of the major in the world the cultural, scientific, industrial and political center.

Moscow is rich in architectural monuments of 14 - 20 centuries. One of them - ensemble of the Kremlin palace, protected by UNESCO, is one of RF President residences. There is the famous Red Square near the Moscow Kremlin, where Blessed Basil’s Cathedral, the most beautiful church in the world, Lenin Mausoleum and other excellent historical monuments are placed.
