Founder Chinese Fonts

Founder offers fonts in up to 4 encodings:

The GB 2312-80 encoding contains simplified Chinese characters and is designed for normal use in mainland China.

The GB/T 12345-90 encoding is the traditional Chinese counterpart of GB 2312-80. It is designed for use in mainland China when traditional, rather than simplified, Chinese characters are required.

The GBK encoding contains both simplified and traditional characters and is designed for use in mainland China when both forms are required in a single font.

The Big5 encoding contains traditional Chinese characters and is designed for use in Taiwan and Hong Kong.

The GB 2312 and GB/T 12345 encodings may be regarded as a pair of styles. If a document is created using GB 2312, changing the font to GB 12345 effectively changes the simplified Chinese characters to their corresponding traditional forms.
