About this font family

Mesh One AOK, is based on the handwriting of the artist of the same name. Born and raised in New York City, Mesh started the AOK crew with Reas and Wolf and the KRT crew with Cost. Mesh rocked trains throughout the 80s and as recently as 2003. The AOK crew went on to become one of the pre-eminent crews in New York City in the late 80s.

First published in Henry Chalfant’s book Spray Can Art with the “one” piece, Mesh is on a mission to progress the actual form of Graffiti within itself rather than create only art that is inspired by it.
