Anatomy

Some words from Intellecta Design:

These dingies come from a study in two important and rare medicine books.

The first is the highly valuable Traité Élementaire de Chirurgie et de Médecine Opératoires by V Chalot, famous Surgery Clinical Teacher at the Medicine University of Toulouse, Pathology and Surgery Medicine in the Montpellier University and plus member of the Surgery Society of Paris. I work at the original 4th edition (1900) which has 1323 pages, published from the historic “editeur” Octave Doin and pressed by Charles Hérissey. This edition has 1217 fantastic and high accurate illustrations, showing medical instruments, anatomy and step-by-step techniques of surgery, in an authentic tour-de-force printing job. Book binding hardcover.

The second book was the Traité D'Anatomie Humaine by Louis Testut, famous Anathomy Teacher at the Medicine University of Lyon. His “Tome Premier” has 973 pages, published too from the historic “editeur” Octave Doin and pressed by Charles Hérissey in 1899. This edition has 774 fantastic illustrations by G Devy, with 468 colored in an authentic tour-de-force printing job.

Note: This font family is no longer available due its complexity and the resulting memory and performance issues.
