Kurversbrug

Some words from Re-Type:

Kurvesbrug is a revival of the famous letters appearing on Amsterdam’s bridges. The letters were probably designed by Anton Kurvers (b. Den Haag, 23 July 1889; d. Amsterdam, 29 January 1940).

Although many corrections were made in order to improve its performance on paper, the original look is still intact. Kurversbrug is a font suitable for posters and idiosyncratic typographic works.
