About this font family
The evocative and original Retrofit is based on typefaces of the 1940s and 50s, which extolled the virtues of American products in glossy magazines for the new suburban consumer.
Oversized terminal bulbs and occasional slab serifs lend a rhythm and a bouncing baseline provides just the “zing” to spice up that bland typographic treatise.
