GilgameshA font family tree displays different foundries’ versions, or a foundry’s different cuts, of basically the same typeface design.
GilgameshSome words from Letraset: Functionality with style is the keynote of Gilgamesh, the latest text typeface family from the cultured hand of British designer, Michael Gills. Based largely on Gills' calligraphic experiments, Gilgamesh offers the discerning typographer everything - slightly narrower-than-normal letterforms for economy of space, a top-left, bottom-right serif formation on the lowercase for close letterspacing in larger point sizes, and a crisp, angular italic that will give emphasis to your typographic design. Named after a poem from Middle Eastern mythology, ‘The Epic of Gilgamesh’. |
